The new game by Telltale, "The Walking Dead" season 3 will be called "The New Frontier" and is supposed to be released this month, but was delayed and with the first episode moved this December 20. According to IGN, players can already download the digital copy of Episode 1 for PC, Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, iOs and PS3 platforms. The physical copy of the first episode of game will be released next year on February 7.

Following the first and second season, the third season opens four years after the last episode of the second season and will star Clementine and will be joined by a new character named Javier. In "The Walking Dead" season 3, Javier is a young man who is determined to look for his family who was taken away from him. Clementine was introduced by Telltale as, "Her name is Clementine, and your fates are bound together in a story where every choice you make could be your last."

According to Robert Kirkman, the creator of the "The Walking Dead" comics, "Season 3 will actually be getting pretty close to where we are in the comics currently -- like the books that are coming out now are roughly in the same time frame that Season 3 will be in... it'll definitely go hand in hand with the comics a little bit more than Season 2 did." Fans can also look forward to Telltale revealing the first look of the premiere episode of the game at the Game Awards on December 1.
