Oculus Rift Latest News & Updates: VR Headset Update For Xbox One Streaming Available Next Month

Owners are allowed to stream games available in Xbox one directly to their VR headsets in the update of Oculus Rift PC app. The update will be free to owners and it will be available on Dec. 12, 2016.

The new feature will not make players experience VR however Xbox One games can be played in front of a huge virtual display inside the headset according to Arstechnica. It has a resemblance on how Netflix functions.

An Oculus Rift headset must be connected to a PC which has Windows 10 program. In order to experience this, the players must have an Xbox One and a lot of games. To acquire the best experience, players must choose the Ethernet than the Wi-Fi.

However, there are no specific network requirements. The three environments like Citadel, Dome and Retreat can be seen in the virtual screen. It is already late for Microsoft to introduce VR but despite of the delay, the company is still pushing 3D capabilities for its virtual reality. The creators update will augment reality headsets for users that are compatible to Windows 10.

Xbox One game streaming will be available on Oculus Rift as produced by Microsoft. The following games that will be compatible to Xbox one streaming to Oculus Rift are "Gears of War 4", "Halo 5: Guardians" and "Forza Horizon" according to VR- Zone.

Users must mark their calendars as it will be released on Oculus Store on Dec. 12, 2016. Microsoft and Oculus are officially collaborating. Unfortunately, this update will support VR but not VR games.

It is a better idea for all for every Xbox One users as they are now able to stream their games via Oculus Rift.  It is not VR but it has a resemblance on watching in a theater. It is beneficial to all Xbox One and Oculus Rift users because they will experience the entire amazing features while playing their consoles.
