‘Mass Effect: Andromeda’ Latest Updates, Which Races Will Make It In The Game

There has not been a lot of information share about “Mass Effect: Andromeda” but with each passing day there are more and more little details available to the fans and future buyers of the game. This one considers the alien races which will be included in the game.

Game Rant reports that not all of the familiar alien races of the “Mass Effect” trilogy will appear in the latest installment of the series. For now it is known that the Asari and the Salarians will make an appearance in the game. Other race which has been announced to make an appearance in the series are the Kett. They are a new race to the series, which makes them an enigma to the fans. Are they friends, foes or somewhere in the middle is not yet known, but they will play an influential role in the game’s narrative.

IGN shares a statement from creative director Mac Walters who gives details about this decision. According to him, not all known species of the Milky Way Galaxy will appear in the game because of reasons stated only as obvious. This does not mean the they will not make further appearances in the game’s universe or even in continuations of the “Mass Effect: Andromeda” franchise. According to him, the IP is made in such a way, that it allows for the further appearance of every one of the already established alien races.

“Mass Effect: Andromeda” takes place 600 years after the events of the original trilogy. A rookie by the name of Ryder will travel through the Andromeda galaxy in attempts to find new grounds for the human civilization. Playstation Universe shares that further information on the game, like the main quest, side objectives and others will be announced on 1 December, during the Game Awards.

“Mass Effect: Andromeda” will be available for PS4, XBOX ONE and PC and will be released in the first quarter of 2017.
