"Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 just keeps getting more heart pounding with every episode. However, fans just might get more excited as "MacGyver" characters are set to crossover on the show. With the two CBS reboot shows being executively produced by Peter Lenkov, this is highly possible.
"Hawaii Five-0" And "MacGyver" Crossover
"Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 and "MacGyver" undeniably have a lot of things in common, with the most glaring details being both are reboot of classic shows and that they share a Lenkov as the showrunner. With this, a possible crossover between the two shows has long been rumored.
Lenkov himself admitted in an interview that he already has plans for a crossover. He then alludes to the pilot episode of "MacGyver." He recalls Jack Dalton, played by George Eads, in a flashback during his time serving in Afghanistan. There was a shot of a gun's saddle with the marking of "Aloha" imprinted, making the connection with "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7.
He then explained that this detail was elaborately placed so as to serve as a connection between Dalton and Steve McGarrett, the main protagonist of "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 played by Alex O'Loughlin. The two characters are supposedly acquainted with each other back while serving in the military. However, there are no concrete plans as of yet regarding the two shows' crossover.

Despite the rumored departure of Alex O'Loughlin from "Hawaii Five-0" in Season 7, the show still holds its own and continues to deliver exciting episodes every Friday night. Lenkov has also hinted that McGarett and Catherine Rollins, played by Michelle Borth, could give their relationship a second try.
The next episode of "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 will be titled "Ka Luhi." The Five-0 will be investigating a cold case that dates back to ten years. It is about a missing teen, as a boy has surfaced suffering from PTSD, undergoes hypnosis, and may have witnessed the murder of the missing teen.
Also, Danny's sister, to be played by guest star Missy Peregrym, will be visiting Oahu for a business conference. However, he suspects that his sister may be getting a little too close to one of his "Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 co-workers.
"Hawaii Five-0" Season 7 Episode 10 will air on December 9, Friday, after a two-week break. It airs every 9/8c on CBS. "MacGayver" airs on the same day, but on an earlier 8/7c time slot.
