Mass Effect 4 confirmed to arrive with better animations, user-friendly gameplay

Bioware has been very busy of late, most of which is due to the highly anticipated arrival (or just an announcement) of the next generation Mass Effect title. And while we are still awaiting anything substantial about the game, it seems like the developer is already aware of the title’s popularity and has accordingly decided to let out a few details.

According to reports, the next Mass Effect (probably Mass Effect 4) title will be friendly to both newbies and seasoned fans, alongside better animations and graphics to show off. The information was revealed after executive producer Casey Hudson earlier announced that the central team that worked on Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is busy with a new IP.

Recently, studio director for Bioware Montreal Yanick Roy went live on Twitter for a mano-a-mano question session with all the Mass Effect fans, looking ahead to a brand new game in the franchise, and answered a few questions related to the game. On asked whether the new Mass Effect will assist all the new players just joining in, Roy wrote: “Too soon to say, but we'll be sure to be friendly both to old fans and to newcomers.”

Later on, when asked if the next Mass Effect will offer better animations compared to the previous titles in the franchise, Roy said, “It's one of the things we would like to improve, yes.” On the topic of gender selection for the main character in the beginning of the game, and also support for the LGBT community, Roy confirmed that “There is no reason to believe otherwise at this point, don't worry!”

However, while these are small confirmations for those who were expecting something big related to the in-game feature and customizations, it is to be noted that Bioware will take its time to reveal the game in its entirety as the game, as we believe, is still in development and won’t see an official release at least until 2014.

Mass Effect 4 has been in news for quite some time now. The last big news from the Mass Effect front came back May when a few of the in-game details were discussed via community coordinator Chris Priestly on Bioware’s social forum.
