The year 2017 promises a lot of flair and cool updates to the mobile industry. There are several innovative devices that gadget and tech lovers are looking forward to and most of them look promising. That being said, Samsung is planning to make the Samsung Galaxy X having an ambitious foldable design with a Super AMOLED display.
Information on its design has been leaking out, and perhaps one of the most useful clue is the numerous patents being filed by Samsung. Samsung Display filed patents for a model that looked like a flat makeup box having a clam shell-like design. If Samsung Galaxy X is realized, then Samsung could be the very first company to commercially launch a foldable mobile phone.
Samsung has been continuously working on foldable displays for quite some time now, and as reported, it is now preparing to unveil the very first product in 2017 - the Samsung Galaxy X. According to GSMArena, "the aspect ratio of the device display looks 21:9 or close to that, and considering the physical design of the device it will be interesting to see how useful all of that screen real estate will turn out to be."
Digital Trends reported that the possible features of Samsung Galaxy X include a foldable 4K AMOLED screen. It is said to have two variants, the first will utilize Snapdragon 620 while the second will either have 820, or 830 as processor built with Quick Charge 3.0 technology. Both variants will have a 3 GB RAM, and storage mounted in a Micro SD card.
A curvy edge is also noticeable in the physical design of Samsung Galaxy X. As reported by Patently Mobile, the edge part of the device is dedicated to the phone user's multiple profiles and is protected by their passwords. Hopefully this new product from Samsung will live up to the expectations of many. For more updates and information about Samsung Galaxy X, check more of GamenGuide.
