Martian Manhunter not the last DLC character for Injustice: Gods Among Us, Boon teasing Zatanna and the Riddler?

We've seen a total of four DLC characters added to the DC fighter Injustice: Gods Among Us so far - Batgirl, Lobo, Zod, and Mortal Kombat's ninja specter Scorpion, with the Martian Manhunter, and four new sets of S.T.A.R. Labs missions set to arrive. But that's not nearly the end of what NeatherRealms has to offer the fans.

When asked if Martian Manhunter is the last DLC character, NeatherRealm boss Ed Boon tweeted in response, "No he is not the last." "Next one is a BIG fan favorite request !!" he added. Boon hasn't dropped any clues as to who this new character could be though. "BIG fan favorite" is rather ambiguous when you consider the hundreds of heros included in the DC universe.

When prodded for more information, Boon responded with "is Riddler part of Batman?" and later, "Did I say Zatanna?"

No plans have been announced for an additional season pass, so it's assumed that Martian Manhunter will be an independent purchase, as the original season pass only included four DLC characters, which have already been released. It's logical to assume he'll cost the same (400 Microsoft Points on Xbox 360, and/or $4.99 on PlayStation 3), but nothing official has been mentioned as of yet regarding price.

The DLC announcement only made mention of the PS3 and Xbox 360 platforms, but not the Wii U. Unfortuante though it may be, it does make sense. It took about two months for all the DLC released so far to finally arrive on the Nintendo console.

Another Justice League notable, Martian Manhunter claims many of the same powers as Superman, likewise the result of his alien heritage: flight, super strength, regeneration, endurance, speed, as well as few powers Superman can only dream of having, like telepathy, mind control, and shape shifting.

Despite his overwhelming strength, Manhunter fights like a bit of a trickster, using a lot of teleports surprise players and extend combos. Dhalsim fans will also recognize a familiar, stretchy aspect of Manhunter's style as well.

Apart from the Martian, new S.T.A.R. Labs missions are coming for each of the original 4 DLC characters.

If you don't have the Season Pass, the new DLC will cost $1.99. Not each, mind you, $1.99 for all 40 missions. Not bad, really.

The S.T.A.R. Lab missions serve as a good method of breaking up the game's endless arcade mode, teach new tactics, give a more interesting way of trying out a character besides the dull training mode, as well as provide another way of accessing the game's various unlockables.
