‘The 100' Season 4 News, Cast Update: Chai Romruen Plays Clarke's Love Interest?

"The 100" Season 4 may see Clarke in a new relationship following the death of Lexa. While speculatiosn are rife that she ends up with Bellamy, a new report claims she might end up with Ilan, played by Chai Romruen.

Chai Romruen portrays Ilan, one of the new Grounders In "The 100" Season 4. He plays a recurring role in the instalment, although further details about the character remain scarce.

According to speculations, Ilan might end up as Clarke's new love interest in "The 100" Season 4. Showrunner Jason Rothenberg has since confirmed that the heroine finds a new love in the instalment.

In a previous interview, Rothenberg said Clarke eventually gets over the death of Lexa and starts to open her heart to someone new. At that time though, the series creator did not specify if Clarke (Eliza Taylor) ends up with a man or a woman in "The 100" Season 4.

Regardless, the recent addition of Chai Romruen as Ilan hints he could be Clarke's new love interest in "The 100" Season 4. Ilan reportedly plays a big role in the instalment, according to a report from Movie News Guide. He appears early in the season as one of the members of the Trishanakru clan or the Glowing Forest Grounders.

According to the report, the Trishanakru clan are peace-loving Grounders. It is likely that Ilan's personality attracts Clarke. However, the report likewise revealed that Ilan has a dark past. He committed terrible acts in the past, when he was under the control of the A.I ALIE. Can Clarke see past Ilan's dark past and fall in love with him in "The 100" Season 4?

However, some fans still prefer to see Clarke end up with Bellamy (Bob Morley) and not with a new love interest. There are also those who wish to see Lexa return, although Rothenberg has since confirmed that she does not return. Sadly, Clarke's past love does not return from the dead in "The 100" Season 4.
