‘The Elder Scrolls 6’ Release Date, Latest News & Update: Nintendo Switch Version Happening Soon?

“The Elder Scrolls 6” is one of the most clamored games from Bethesda though seeing it come to fruition may be years away. Todd Howard and company are currently focusing on delivering added content to their other intellectual properties, some of which may be carried over to the sixth installment.

As mentioned in a previous post, Todd Howard assures that “The Elder Scrolls 6” will happen. Howard admits that nothing is carved in stone right now but one will eventually pop up. That could be next month or maybe even in 2019.

The dish of Howard on “The Elder Scrolls 6” is, of course, a big vague though the best to get out of it is that Bethesda has not abandoned plans for a sixth installment. Seeing their list of priorities right now, that will have to do.

Expected are new maps, characters, and upped game play graphics. It could even include some virtual reality which makes a bit of sense. With “Skyrim Special Edition” offering improved graphic, seeing VR mode integrated to “The Elder Scrolls 6” should come in naturally.

The game is expected to be available on PC and game consoles, possibly including one for the Nintendo Switch. Recall that “Skyrim Special Edition” was included among the trailers when the latest game console from Nintendo was revealed though it may have been nothing more than for show.

Howard expectedly played it safe when asked if “The Elder Scrolls 6” or even “Skyrim” would be available for the Nintendo Switch. It also begs to ask if the Bethesda titles would ever be playable on the go, Neurogadget reported.

All those questions hardly got a convincing and definite answer from Todd Howard for now, likely because “The Elder Scrolls 6” has yet to reach that critical stage of development. As for “Skyrim Special Edition” on the Nintendo Switch, the scenario could change once the game console is officially out in the open in 2017.
