'Cities: Skylines' Latest News & Updates: Natural Disasters DLC Trailer Released Featuring Alerts and Responses Systems, Disasters and Many More

Being a good mayor is not enough to deal with a supreme deity and that is the case in point in "Cities: Skylines: Natural Disasters". The DLC of the game went live today featuring new systems for alerts and responses in cases of a disaster and it also adds other disasters such as earthquakes, forest fires and tornadoes. The new trailer has just been released today, Nov. 29, 2016.

Disasters strike because of some unfortunate events, but there are times when it comes because of more sinister reasons. These reasons are said to be because of someone who is having fun building a modern metropolis in "Cities Skylines: Natural Disasters", but the environment can change, calling forth the burning rocks from the sky to smash everything into pieces.

According to PC Gamers, the player has the option to stand back or help in moving traffic or keeping the lights on whether the disaster was due to vengeance or fate. "Cities: Skylines: Natural Disasters" have five pre-made scenarios with customized objectives. There will be an emergency broadcast network that could help in spreading the bad news for chirpers. The game also includes a free to all expansion to the regular scenario editor.

"Cities: Skylines: Natural Disasters" allows mayor-players to experience a catalog of catastrophes to enable them to plan for early warning system as well as emergency routes. It will also help them to prepare for the destructive and devastating effects of the disaster and to help the populace as they struggle to rebuild their community.

According to Paradox Interactive, the expansion will have new gameplay mode and new scenario editor that would allow players to win or lose the game depending on their term. "Cities: Skylines: Natural Disasters" features a deep and impactful gameplay that will require the player to keep on going after the devastation resulted from natural disasters including earthquakes, forest fires, meteors, sinkholes, thunderstorms, tornadoes and tsunamis.

It also allows players to realize that great power comes with great responsibilities. Players need to plan and respond to disasters using appropriate measures when playing "Cities Skylines: Natural Disaster."
