"Daredevil" Season 2 had a good run especially after the Marvel Netflix series ended in yet another shocking cliffhanger when Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) decided to tell Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) the truth about his real identity. Now the secret is out, it is speculated that Karen's life will be in danger in "Daredevil" Season 3.
Rumors are swirling that Karen will die in "Daredevil" Season 3, besides knowing who Daredevil really is, the comics version of the character is destined to die at the hands of Bullseye, the superhero's most popular archnemesis. There are also speculations that Season 3 will finally introduce Bullseye but Netflix and the show executives have not confirmed this. But even Charlie Cox is interested in having the assassin featured in the next season.
Once Bullseye makes it to the story, it is expected that Deborah Ann Woll's character won't stay long in "Daredevil" Season 3 -- either that or Netflix will stray from the comics and keep her around longer. Fans, though, think that it's likely she will make an exit to pave way for Elektra's (Elodie Yung) return to Matt's life.
Elektra died in the previous season of "Daredevil" but her body had been dug up and placed inside a casket. It is speculated that she will resurrect from the dead with a magic ritual. When she returns, she could start a relationship with Matt again as Karen will no longer be in the picture. Besides Elektra, the vile Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio) is also expected to make a comeback at some point in "Daredevil" Season 3, Digital Spy noted. There's also a possibility that Rosario Dawson's Claire will return to continue to offer Matt the help that he needs.
For now, nothing is certain about "Daredevil" Season 3 plot, but the series is expected to premiere sometime in 2018. Fans can just stay tuned to GamenGuide to get more updates!
