‘Grey’s Anatomy’ Season 13 Midseason Finale News & Update: Read What Showrunner Shonda Rhimes Has To Say About the Show

Next year on "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13 part 2, the characters may again face their own demons after thinking, they made it through. After the midseason finale of "Grey's Anatomy" wrapped up, it looks like they left more interesting stories than what the previous season did. It is indeed a new year for the resident doctors as well as the surgeons in the hospital.

With very little information about the next story in "Grey's Anatomy" Season 13, Shonda Rhimes shares her thoughts and plans about the show. In an interview featured on the Fast Company, Rhimes said "I have many more stories to tell. And I feel like Grey's has had this great resurgence, and part of that is because I felt reignited creatively and excited about telling stories there. That's just come from living differently, I think."

In "Grey's Anatomy," she said she only manages the storytelling of the show. But she somehow manage to confuse herself after sitting on one round table to the next when it's time for the casts to read their scripts. She revealed that at one point, she came to a room for the script reading and asked "What show is this?"

Admittedly, she said it's hard to tell things apart when 1-2 hours ago, you were talking about surgeries and patients and the next one, you're talking about political scandal. But she also revealed that, she doesn't do the writing alone. A writer's room normally consists of 5 writers, but in "Grey's Anatomy" Rhimes said there's over 15 co-writers in the room.

She also shed light on how she writes for "Grey's Anatomy". Utmost, she does not subject to drafts and outlines. "I don't outline and I don't do any of that stuff. I just sit down and write. If it's not honest emotionally then it's not good, and that's my only rule," she added.
