There were those who got addicted and even searched for game cheats. And now, Facebook is incorporating a new set of games to bring something new to its users.

Just this Tuesday, the most successful social app Facebook announced its all-new "Instant Games". It is a new HTML5 cross-platform gaming experience on Messenger and News Feed. With this, users can now post, share and play games without installing it on the device.

Enough of the simple black and white graphics, the "Instant Games" will let you play up to 17 new and nostalgic games such as Pacman, Space Invaders, Words With Friends, Arkanoid, Zookeeper, Puzzle Bobble and a lot more. And not just that, there are more games already up for a spin.

As of now, the "Instant Games" is only offered to 30 countries yet. User requirement includes any devices with iOS 8 and v5 for Apple and Android users respectively.

Some of Facebook's partners have shared their reactions towards this move. One of the big gaming companies Bandai Namco Entertainment Inc. said in a statement, "We are excited to work with Facebook to feature two of our classic IP's, PAC-MAN and Galaga on the new Instant Games platform."

Other Facebook partners such as Taito Corporation, Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd, Game Insight, CoolGames, and King shared their positive comments as well.

The "Instant Games" is easily accessible to Facebook's Messenger chat box displayed in a game controller icon. With this, you can now challenge your friends to play the games you wanted. Similar to its existing format, every score is viewable and displayed in the conversation history.

Moreover, Facebook also confirmed of having more than 1 billion users for its messaging app making it to the top three lists of most downloadable apps in the world.

For those game developers who are interested to share their games, Facebook is allowing it by signing up on their site.
