Another Netflix exclusive will be aired real soon - Marvel's "Iron Fist." Fans now can't wait to know more about this TV series, its cast, its plot, and most especially its superhero.
The "Iron Fist" series is going to be the fourth title from the partnership of Marvel and Netflix. The story revolves around the main character, Danny Rand, who will be played by "Game of Throne's" Loras Tyrell, Finn Jones. In the storyline of "Iron Fist," Danny, at the age of 10, will vanish off from the face of the Earth after his parents were killed while traveling with him in the Himalayas. It will be found out that he was taken by monks. He will be raised by them and will be trained in the martial arts with the power to focus his chi energy in the in interdimensional city K'un-Lun - which appears on Earth once every ten years.
After his training, Danny Rand will be able to polish his incredible skills in martial arts and the ability to summon the mystical force - Iron Fist. He will come back to New York to resolve his past including his family legacy as he fights against his evil opponents.
Marvel fans, prior to the casting of "Iron Fist," expected the main character to be portrayed by an Asian actor considering that the comic story is about an Asian superhero. So when the Caucasian actor Finn Jones was announced to get the lead role, it became a bit of a controversy.
Scott Buck of Marvel, according to a report, said that he knew Finn Jones is going to be the perfect choice to play Danny's character in "Iron Fist" the moment he saw him act. The Head of Marvel TV even said that his acting skills are superb as he has mastered perfectly the combination of "confidence with vulnerability".
Despite the absence of official updates with regards to the casting or production of "Iron Fist" to date, marvel fans should watch out for this new action-packed TV series. Catch "Iron Fist" on March 17, 2017, only on Netflix.
