"Read Dead Redemption" Latest News & Update: Available In PlayStation Now; At No Additional Cost?

Read Dead Redemption and its Holloween-themed zombie expansion, Undead Nightmare debuted on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in May and October 2010. Both will now be available to play on Sony's full-games streaming device.

As some may recall, Red Dead Redemption took the freedom of Grand Theft Auto games into the wild west and lassoed its way to awesomeness. Yet until now it has remained one of the favorite games of most players. That's why Rockstar Games took the liberty to make players more exciting by making it available to Playstation Now.

The news recently followed on a promise from the week Rockstar Games announced its Red Dead Redemption 2 last October, when Sony said that the original game would be released "soon" on PlayStation Now. Read Dead Redemption, the beloved open-world Western, and its Undead Nightmare spin-off title, will now join the PlayStation Now lineup, as the company has just announced.

In fact, WWG reports that "the publisher has confirmed that the shoot-em-up classic, alongside its Undead Nightmare expansion, will be available for play through the cloud-gaming service starting December 6th." Although the announcement did not further explain on whether or not its respective DLC would be included in the package still, full access to both games will be provided.

Moreover as Polygon reports that "the service's available on PlayStation 4 and Windows PC, which means that Red Dead Redemption will be playable on PC - if only through PS Now."

PlayStation Now allows PC users and PS4 users to play PS3 games without downloading them. These games have a subscription which costs $19.99/month or $44.99/ three month, with a library of more than 450 games. "Red Dead Redemption" and as well as "Undead Nightmare" are coming to PlayStation Now on December 6th.
Not only that, it's worth noting that those who owned Xbox One and Red Dead can play the game without additional cost on the console.
