The "Red Dead Redemption" is one of the most sought game on the Xbox One backwards compatibility. Previously, it was mistakenly put on the feature until they unceremoniously take it off due to a mistake in posting. Since then, the game was the center of attention on the Microsoft feature.

On July 2016, the "Red Dead Redemption" finally made it to the backwards compatible feature. Few days after it launched, rumors suggested that "Red Dead Redemption 2" will follow. It took months before Rockstar is able to confirm the news saying, indeed there will be a sequel to the title.

Reports also believe that, Rockstar has expanded the scope of the the "Red Dead Redemption" in hopes of advertising first hand their plans of launching "Red Dead Redemption 2" in 2017.

For years, the Xbox One console enjoyed the "Red Dead Redemption" exclusivity until during the later years that the series finally arrived on the PS3 console. Now, fans can start thinking about the sequel following this new PS4 milestone.
