'Final Fantasy XV' Latest News & Updates: How To Master Your Combat Skills

"Final Fantasy XV" no longer uses the turn-based combat style that it's predecessors started. For this version, players are greeted with better enemies, various fighting style and fast-paced battles. In order for you to survive as you progress through the world, you must learn how to master your "Final Fantasy XV" combat skills.

First thing that you must learn is learn how to defend in "Final Fantasy XV." In any battle, defending yourself becomes the priority if you want to survive. Dodging, parrying and blocking are some of the basic techniques. Combine this with another strategic move and you'll do critical damage to your enemy.

Next up are your weapons. In "Final Fantasy XV," you are allowed to equip four weapons at the same time and you can freely swtich through them during the battle. Learn how to swtich between them and which weapons work best against a specific enemy. You should also take note that upgrade are needed as you progress in the world. The farther you are, the higher the monster level will be.

Once you have both the defensive skills and good weaponry, you must learn how to combine your techniques and finishing your opponents. When your enemy is truly vulnerable, that is the only time that you should employ the use of your combos. With a lance you can do an aerial combo while ground fights are reserved for the greatword. Be careful though since in "Final Fantasy XV," you cannot change weapon or do any other action while you are in combo mode.

Use your warping technique wisely. Noctis can easily warp to any area where he throws his weapon. This is one way for you to strike an enemy faster or escape an unworthy opponent before they deplete your energy and resources. The warping in "Final Fantasy XV" should be used strategically though since it will bring you away from your buddies and make you vulnerable to enemy attacks. If done properly, warping can actually be used as a finishing move.

In "Final Fantasy XV," you need your buddies in order for you to survive. Remember to use their techniques when you are in battle mode since it will give you great advantage. Learn their moves and plan your battles around it. Ignis' "Mark" technique allows Noctis to attack the enemies at once while Gladiolus' Tempest can damage several enemies at the same time.

"Final Fantasy XV" is probably the best game in the franchise so far. As you progress through the game, you will most likely encounter more adventures and battles. If you pay attention to what you are doing and encountering, you will be able to master your combat skills in no time!
