Nintendo Switch Latest News & Update: 'Grand Theft Auto V' Will Soon Be Available To The Console? Developer 'Very Optimistic' About It

Nintendo Switch has made negotiations and efforts to convince big-named third-party developers and publishers like Take-Two Interactive, Ubisoft and Bethesda to team up with the console producer. It seems that their plan is working as the "Grand Theft Auto V" publisher Take-Two Interactive is interested and "very optimistic" in producing the game on Nintendo Switch.

"With any new hardware, there is always an element of 'wait and see,' and the install base is going to drive a lot. We're very intrigued and excited about it."Karl Slatoff said in a statement during the 20th Annual Credit Suisse Technology, Media & Telecom Conference. "I would say we're very optimistic and they're good partners. We're excited to work with them in the future on it," continued the president of Take-Two Interactive.

Nintendo Switch has a highly-customized NVIDIA 16nm Pascal-grade Tegra processor, that are highly scalable efficient and powerful according to TweakTown. The console can provide easy porting of the third-party games that convinced the "Grand Theft Auto V" publisher to possibly work with them in the future.

Meanwhile, Ubisoft is also hinting some interest in working with Nintendo Switch which had high hopes for the console ever since. "We have big expectations for the innovative Nintendo Switch. Our Just Dance franchise, for example, is one that people enjoy," said Alain Corre EMEA boss of Ubisoft via interview with Famitsu.

"I love it. I got to play it. I will tell you - well, maybe that's an N.D.A. thing. One of the best demos I've ever seen. Probably the best demo I've ever seen," said Bethesda's Todd Howard as he was fascinated with the Nintendo Switch during an interview with Glixel. Howard also gave his support to the console which can possibly lead for their games to be released on Nintendo Switch.

All these positive feedback from the publisher could lead for these third party games available on Nintendo Switch in fact Take-Two will announce "something specific" in January 12 at the Nintendo Switch event according to WWG.
