There seems to be a problem with sharing some information between the iPhone 7 Plus and the Google Pixel, two of the latest released smartphones in the market. The said problem has something to do with the screenshots sent using the two phones.
Distorted screenshots
Reports indicate that distorted screenshots were received by Google Pixel users from their contacts who are owners of the iPhone 7 Plus. Users of the Google Pixel discussed in a Google forum that the screenshots appeared to have a distorted color.
This only reportedly happens when the screenshot is sent from the an iPhone 7 Plus to the Google Pixel or the Google Pixel XL. However, it was noted that the bug does not appear when the screenshot is sent from the Google Pixel to the iPhone 7 Plus.
Camera issues
A similar concern was also raised by a Google Pixel user who claimed that the device's camera suddenly freezes then appears with "pink or purple vertical lines." This was almost the same description as what appeared in the distorted screenshots reported by other users.
The Google Pixel user was reportedly instructed to reset the device or turn it to safe mode but there was still no improvement. Some handset owners also noted that the bug happens when someone is in an area with poor signal or when the Airplane Mode is on.
Topsellers
Despite these problems, the Google Pixel, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus remained as the top sellers in the recent weekend sales in the United States. The Pixel had a 112 percent rise in its sales for the Black Friday weekend. On the other hand the the two variants also recorded high sales for this sale period.
