“Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show” 2016 was held in the Grand Palais, Paris where 51 Victoria’s Secret Models walk the runway in their creatively enhanced lingerie. Plus three million worth of Fantasy Bra and 7 feet long wings, what could get more exciting than that?
In 2014/15, according to Telegraph UK, “Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show” earned $7.2billion. You can definitely say this is one of the biggest fashion shows of the year. Like every year, the show is divided into different themes or sections. This year, “Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show” was divided into six sections, the Road Ahead, Mountain Romance, Pink Nation, Secret Angel, Dark Angel and Bright Night Angel. This year’s performers are Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars and The Weeknd. Lady Gaga surprisingly wore an elegant “demure” embroidered gown, as Vogue describes it. All three performer posted photos on their Instagram accounts. Lady Gaga posted a photo showing her beautiful outfit saying that she feels amazing being able to wear an extra ordinary dress that is made with love. Bruno Mars also posted a photo in the backstage about to perform. The Weeknd posted a photo of him posing on the “Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show” photo wall.

Independent UK reports that there are 18 girls who debuted in “Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show” 2016. One of them is the sister of Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid who also happens to be The Weeknd’s ex-girlfriend. Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid are relatively new to “Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show” walking the second time. This year, they got their angel wings. If you follow “Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show,” you would understand how this moment means so much for these girls. As creative director of “Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show,” Sophia Neophitou said, when she first gave angel wings to one of the models back in 2010, she was surprised to see the model cry. It was then she realized that getting their angel wings, no matter how big or small it is, is one of the magical moments for Victoria’s Secret models.
