The Xiaomi Mi 5c is expected to be released this month. Recent reports reveal that the highly anticipated Android phone will be made available starting on Dec. 6.

There have been speculations that the Xiaomi Mi 5c will be launched on Dec. 12. However, may believe that the device will be unveiled in a Chinese event next week. The early release date is exciting fans who are eager to confirm if the Xiaomi Mi 5c is indeed similar with the Xiaomi Mi 5s.

The upcoming Xiaomi Mi 5c is directly being compared with the latest product of the company. The two devices are said to have the same features and functionalities.

The Xiaomi Mi 5c will reportedly be powered by a 2.2 GHz octa-core processor and a 3 GB of RAM. It is expected to run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow, which is the latest operating system for mobile devices by Google.

A 64 GB of storage will most likely be included, as per GSMArena. In terms of camera quality, the Xiaomi Mi 5c will sport a 12 MP lens for the rear camera and 8 MP for the front camera for quality selfies.

In addition to the beyond average features of the Xiaomi Mi 5c, the phone's security is said to be tough. A fingerprint sensor might be included to protect the privacy of the users. No one can easily access the smartphone with this technology.

The affordable price of the Xiaomi Mi 5c is actually the part of the main factors why many are anticipating for the device. The upcoming smartphone has an estimated price of $150.

Though Xiaomi has not yet revealed that actual price of their product, the price is expected to be near the projected value, as earlier reported by GamenGuide.

The Xiaomi Mi 5c will come in two different versions. One will have a 5.2-inch screen and the other one will be 5.5 inches.
