Another year and another Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. The 2016 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show just concluded last night in Paris, France. Bella Hadid, Gigi Hadid and Kendall Jenner got their wings. But the biggest story everyone's talking about is Bella Hadid and her ex-boyfriend, Canadian rapper The Weeknd.
The Weeknd, real name Abel Tesfaye, was one of the performers at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. With Bella Hadid as one of the models in the fashion show, it's inevitable that Bella Hadid and The Weeknd would cross paths backstage. However, the most bizarre, if not awkward, turn of events happened during the show. In a completely non-scripted and non-publicity stunt, both Bella Hadid and The Weeknd ended up on stage at the exact same time.
The Weeknd was performing his hit song "Starboy"on stage when Bella Hadid walked out onto the catwalk in a lace gown with a silk corset. The Weeknd was then forced to sing to her. While strutting down the catwalk, Bella Hadid walked pass by her ex-boyfriend and gave him a look that seems to be like telling him "This is what you've been missing". The Weeknd couldn't help but stare at her and almost followed Bella Hadid back up the catwalk like a little lost puppy. The internet went crazy after the incident and twitter was abuzz.
After the fashion show, Bella Hadid went to the after-party at the Pavillon Etoile later that evening. The Weekend also attended the party.
Hours after heading out together, Bella Hadid posted on her Instagram account publicly thanking The Weeknd.
"I can't believe it! I was smiling SO HUGE on the inside I promise!!!! The most fun and nerve racking experience of my life but I wish I could do it over and over and over again!!!!! 'Thank you @theweeknd for being the best and most incredible performer on the planet. You KILLED it, as always."
Bella Hadid is the sister of fellow supermodel Gigi Hadid and the daughter of The Real Houswives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Hadid. Bella Hadid and The Weeknd started dating in 2015. They broke up this month announcing the split on November 11.
