"Empire" Season 3 Episode 8 "The Unkindest Cut" seems to be a little more intense for the Lyon family as Andre (Trai Byers) is finding ways to ruin their business. The famous clan still has a lot of problems and betrayals as Tariq (Morocco Omari) is still eyeing to destroy his half-brother Lucious (Terrence Howard).
In the official synopsis of "Empire" Season 3 Episode 8 "The Unkindest Cut" obtained by TV Guide, Andre will be in the spotlight once again. Andre is going to sabotage Cookie's (Taraji P. Henson) fashion show to bring Nessa (Sierra McClain) in the limelight.
Cookie originally wants Tiana (Serayah) in "Empire" Season 3 Episode 8 to be the center of attention at the event, but the plan will be ruined because of Andre. The promo trailer 8 shows how Andre and Nessa will ruin the special occasion.
Andre and Nessa will be seen talking as the initial is telling her that his previous wife used to look after him. However, Nessa mocked Andre by revealing that she is not there to do the things that his deceased spouse do for him in "Empire" Season 3 Episode 8.
Moreover, Cookie will finally notice that her son Andre is going to do something not good. "You're changing in some way that I'm not sure I got a handle on," Cookie told Andre.
Nessa, too, will be seen accidentally putting Tiana's jacket on fire in "Empire" Season 3 Episode 8. Also, Tariq will be working with Leah (Leslie Uggams) to bring Lucious down while Jamal (Jussie Smollett) will collaborate with Phillip (Juan Antonio) to help him mend his Post-traumatic stress disorder.
Meanwhile, the sneak peek also gives a glimpse of Lucious and Anika (Grace Gealey) in "Empire" Season 3 Episode 8. To recall, Anika saw Lucious watching her as she was getting dressed in the previous episode.
