Fans of Veronica Roth's film adaptation, "Divergent Series", and Theo James and Shailene Woodley's supporters are currently worried that their favorite movie might be cancelled and it is reportedly because of Ruth Kearney.
"Divergent Series" is on the verge of being cancelled due to the decrease of audience in the "Divergent: Allegiant". However, rumor has it that it is not the only reason why Theo James and Shailene Woodley might not comeback as Tris and Four. Now, reports claim that Lionsgate are more convinced to turn it into a TV-Movie project, as they are worried that it might end up in the flop list if they push the movie on the big screen.
According to reports, Ruth Kearney has been causing the problem between Theo James and Shailene Woodley and as a result, it affected even the movie.
In iTechPost article, the site claim that Ruth Kearney is not in favor of seeing Theo James, her soon-to-be husband, with his costar and onscreen lover, Shailene Woodley.
Adding on, the site also reported that since Ruth Kearney is not comfortable with Theo James and Shailene Woodley's closeness. The only thing she could think of is to separate them... that is the only solution for her to calm down.
If the reports are true, then, Mobiles and Apps recent article might serve as a clue that Theo James will focus on his wedding for now and will set aside his "Divergent Series" movie.
Gossip site even claim that like Shailene Woodley, Theo James actually backed out to prepare for his wedding as the "Divergent" movie and other commitments are blocking him from thinking about his wedding. This allegedly makes Ruth Kearney happy.
On the other hand, recent updates about the movie and the possible cancelation upset the cast especially Shailene Woodley. The actress openly expressed what she feels about it but denies having any idea that the "Divergent Series" movie will now become a TV Movie.
