'Inhumans' Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Marvel's New TV Series Release Date Confirmed?

IMAX Entertainment CEO Greg Foster confirmed Marvel Television's new TV series release date during the Credit Suisse 20th Annual Technology, Media & Telecom Conference. The first two episodes of the "Inhumans" TV series will screen in 1000 IMAX theaters for two weeks starting September 1, 2017 before it bows on ABC on September 26.

Disney|ABC Television Group believed that its "unprecedented alliance" with Marvel Television presents a bold and innovative approach in creating a great TV content for a worldwide audience. The "Inhumans" TV series will highlight the company's unrelenting commitment of finding new and creative ways of showcasing its very best programming and increasing global engagement.

Marvel's "Inhumans" TV series will feature the "never-before-told epic adventure" of Black Bolt and the Royal Family says Movieweb. The series will present a modern sensibility that includes international politics and an awareness of class systems through the classic Marvel cast of characters.

The superhumans with unique powers caught the eyes of many when "Inhumans" was initially presented by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1965 Marvel Comics. "Inhumans" is an ancient race of genetically modified humans with Kree alien genes that can activate their apparently random skills by breathing in the mist excreted from a Terrigen Crystal, a process called Terrigenesis.

The Royal Family themselves are the team that come to mind when a comic fan hears "Inhumans". Much like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Afterlife, originally situated on the moon, the noble city of Attilan selectively chooses who undergoes Terrigenesis, strictly enforced by the Genetics Council.

Rumors surfaced that Vin Diesel will take the role of Black Bolt when the movie was being set up. But Screencrush reports that no casting has taken place in the "Inhumans" TV series. According to the director of Guardians of the Galaxy 2, James Gunn, the "Fast and the Furious" actor will likely not take a pay cut to star in a TV show.
