Fans of "Sex and the City" have been clamouring for a sequel and there have been whispers of a Samantha spin-off. Followers of the American comedy series know that the show has four main characters, namely Carrie Bradshaw, Charlotte York Goldenblatt, Miranda Hobbes and Samantha Jones.
"Sex and the City" Spin-off Featuring Samantha Jones?
Recently, Kristin Davis, who played the role of Charlotte, was interviewed by People. Somehow, she shed light on the fate of "Sex and the City" Samantha spinoff. All characters in the series were controversial but the one played by Kim Cattrall, who is Samantha Jones, has been one of the naughtiest there is.
On the note of a "Sex and the City" Samantha spinoff, Kristen Davis said that their general agreement was that they would not do it. She said Samantha's character is great but she has not heard from any reliable sources that such project is in the pipeline.
"Sex and the City" Has Real Storylines?
In an interview with Daily Star, Cynthia Nixon, who plays the role of Miranda Hobbes, a no-nonsense lawyer, revealed that "Sex and the City" storylines were all real. Either the story happens in the life of one of the writers or to someone a cast knows.
Cynthia Nixon added that some of the storylines were indeed fantastic and sometimes absurd, but she said it was based on a real life situation. Looking back at the previous series, fans were thinking if someone really got ditched in the altar on her wedding day just like the famous would-have-been wedding of Carrie Shaw in "Sex and the City." Viewers saw her running on the streets of New York in a fabulous wedding dress.
