'Rainbow Six Siege' Year 2 Content Updates and Latest News: Ubisoft Releases Details on What to Expect for Year 2; Features and Country Settings

Ubisoft recently revealed that "Rainbow Six Siege" will receive another year of content support. Now, the video game developer has teased players on what to expect for 2017.

Release date and new operators

Season pass listings for "Rainbow Six Siege" revealed that there will be an additional eight new Operators for the second year of content support. The first two of these additional operators will come out in February next year.

Expect that these added Operators are from counter-terrorist groups of various countries such as Poland, South Korea, Hong Kong and Spain. These nations will also be where the maps for the game will be located.

Though there was no date unveiled for the add-ons for "Rainbow Six Siege" next year, it is anticipated that the first one will be out around February to April. It will be just a few more months from now and players will not have to wait longer.

Deals and price details

Those who want to remain updated with the game can opt to buy the Year 2 Gold Edition which comes with a Year 2 Season Pass. There is also the Complete Edition with the addition of the Legacy Operator Bundle for "Rainbow Six Siege."

A season pass will allow players to have access to all DLC operators for the entire year. They will be saved from waiting for the DLC releases and downloading each every time these come out.

Those who want to purchase the Year 2 Pass can do so for around $26. The VIP premium membership can also be availed until February 7.

Players who will buy the the Year 2 Pass prior to the mentioned date will be awarded with an Obsidian Weapon Skin. On the other hand, those who want to complete both this year and next year's content are advised to but the "Rainbow Six Siege" Complete Edition.
