Many are calling the Vivo V5 as just a selfie phone. The handset is a hot topic currently in the smartphone market mainly because of its incredible 20MP selfie camera. The Vivo V5 has a 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a 720 x 1280 pixels screen resolution. The handset has a Corning Gorilla Glass protection and Funtouch OS 2.6. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and has an octa-core CPU. The 32GB internal storage is expandable up to 256GB via microSD slot, reports GSMArena.

The Vivo V5 smartphone comes with a fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, proximity and compass. It is powered by a non-removable 3,000 mAh battery. The handset is available in Gold and Gray colors.

The Google Pixel phone is splash and dust resistant. It has a 5-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen and a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The screen comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The Pixel handset runs on Android 7.1 Nougat operating system and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset and Adreno 530 GPU.

The Google Pixel does not have a microSD card slot bt comes in 32/128GB internal storage variants and 4GB RAM. Unlike the Vivo V5, the Pixel phone does not support FM Radio. Other features include sensors such as fingerprint, accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass and barometer. It is fast battery charging enabled. The Google Pixel comes with a 2,770 mAh non-removable battery. It's available in Really Blue, Very Silver and Quite Black color options.

In terms of camera specs, the Vivo V5 has a 13MP primary camera with phase detection autofocus and LED flash. Other camera features include geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama and HDR. The 20MP front camera is the main focus feature of Vivo V5. The Google Pixel comes with a 12.3MP primary camera with EIS (gyro), phase detection & laser autofocus and dual-LED (dual tone) flash. It has an 8MP front camera.
