'Pokémon Sun & Moon' Latest News & Update: 'Pokemon Sun & Moon' Worst Pokémon In Design, Party Choice & Stats

"Pokémon Sun and Moon" are interesting additions to the 3DS family with new monsters to catch. Although these pocket monsters are adorable, there still some whom we find hard to train or are not good companions. Here are the five worst companions in combat, design and party choice.

Yungoos, Worst Pokemon in Combat, Design, and Party Choice

Yungoos is a boring, usual type Pokémon. Its base attacks do not deliver anything that cannot be paired with elemental typing in another party member. Also, its IV stats are among the lowest in the whole of Sun and Moon. Yungoos is just a container for basic attacks, and that makes it commendable of being the worst. This useless beast is also clearly a satire of a certain contentious U.S. president, but it certainly does not make Pokémon great again.

Rattata, Worst Pokemon in Combat, Design, and Party Choice

In Pokemon Sun and Moon, Ratata's Alola form bids some dark-type flair, but its average-level status was not messed up too much in the redesign process. Even with the alterations, its attack stats are just plain low. You get the same issues with Raticate only amplified to a higher level. Without some item augmentation, there is no way for this monster to become anything more than itself. The dark coloring looks a bit unpolished along with its puffy cheeks.

Bruxish, Worst Pokemon in Combat, Design, and Party Choice

Bruxish, with its strong IVs, is not that bad if trained correctly. Yet, that design is just unsightly and hackneyed. Its inane static grin is something unlovable, and there are better water-psychic choices in this game if that is essential to your party. Bruxish is dangerous in combat but unsightly to look at.

Meowth, Worst Pokemon in Combat, Design, and Party Choice

Team Rocket's lovable mascot, Meowth. The latest Meowth is slightly stronger in the IV department compared to Rattata. However, its singular dark typing makes it, an even more worthless party addition. Meowth is fairly fast, but with low attack, HP, and defense. There just not much benefit to Meowth even when it evolved.
