'Supernatural' Season 12 Latest News: Spoilers, Winchester Brothers Go After Lotus in Episode 8

Lucifer is now set to menace the President of the United States (POTUS) in Episode 8 of "Supernatural" Season 12. After escaping as the rock star, Vince Vicente, in Episode 7, he found his way to the White House and made a deal with the most powerful man in the country.

"Lotus", based on information from CarterMatt, is set to air on Thursday, December 8. As anticipated, Lucifer finds his safe haven which is the White House and he's going to execute some ruthless plans that can possibly damage the whole country. In this newest episode of "Supernatural" Season 12, Lucifer will get the POTUS wrapped around his finger.

Lucifer of the White House

The short clip for Episode 8 gives the viewers a glimpse of Lucifer's newly found fresh and powerful vessel in "Supernatural" Season 12. The trailer shows that Lucifer just landed to his safe white house. The sudden turn of events, Sam (played by Jared Padalecki) and Dean (played by Jensen Ackles) have to work together with Castiel (Misha Collins), Rowena (Ruth Connell), and Crowley (Mark A. Sheppard) so they can halt Lucifer's imminent evil plan.

"Supernatural" Season 12's newest episode is more complicated than expected. First, Lucifer seems to have made a deal with America's most powerful man, the POTUS. Having Lucifer and the US President in one team is a fatal combo. So what kind of team can match the powerful and most dangerous team in the planet?

The future episode will reveal an unlikely tandem that comprises the Winchester brothers, Crowley, Castiel, and Rowena. They will have to work again together to overthrow a common and powerful adversary. Viewers are surely wondering how they will handle their issues in this latest challenge ahead in "Supernatural" Season 12.

The Winchesters Almost Met Clark Kent

The writers admitted that, for "Supernatural" Season 12, they almost created a storyline where Sam and Dean did a surprising "Smallville" crossover. They have basically deliberated on making a "Superman Curse" plot for the December 8 episode. According to Blastr, the Winchesters were supposed to search and help Clark Kent (played by Tom Welling) to fight the curse.

It may have become a cool setup but CW preferred not to pursue the story for "Supernatural" Season 12. Expect no flying Superman or even a kryptonite for the upcoming episode this Thursday.
