"Mass Effect: Andromeda" is set in an entirely different galaxy compared to the original trilogy of the series but it doesn't mean that one minor character won't be coming back. Avina, the virtual intelligence character of Citadel and was one of the few NPCs to show in all three games.

Eurogamer reports that Avina is coming back in "Mass Effect: Andromeda" aboard the Nexus, which is the fresh central spacestation created on purpose as a Citadel-esque hub and she is still voiced by actress Dannah Feinglass. She can be heard in the newest Andromeda initiative video that shows the details of the several areas of the Nexus.

The standard "Mass Effect: Andromeda" shops, nightclub, a cultural division with all the information on the Milky Way races and a section for Pathfinders of several races for meet-ups. Some of the aliens that are not yet physically in Andromeda might also show up.

The Nexus doesn't appear intact in "Mass Effect: Andromeda" as the player will be tasked with helping the second stage of its construction upon arriving in Andromeda and it will grow while progressing in the course of the game. As of the moment, Avina is the only character who is returning from the original trilogy.

According to GameSpot, the animation quality of "Mass Effect: Andromeda" doesn't impress fans as they expected an remarkable one but creative director Mac Walters guaranteed that BioWare will keep polishing the game in the lead-up to release in Spring 2017. The game was announced during the Electronic Arts press-con at E3 2015 on June 15, 2016.

Developed by BioWare and published by Electronics Arts, "Mass Effect: Andromeda" is a forthcoming action role-playing third-person shooter video game available for PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows and Xbox One. The game takes place 600 years following the events of the first three "Mass Effect" games in the Andromeda Galaxy.
