Eminem New Album 2017 Release Date News & Update: Marshall Mathers Confirms Album; Recording Almost Finished; Snoop Dogg, Skylar Grey On Board?

Fans of Slim Shady are already excited to get their hands on Eminem's new album, since it's been three years since the rap god released fresh tracks from a full-length album. The good news is that Eminem has confirmed that a new album is coming but the good news is that fans have yet to know its details, especially the release date, but rumors suggest it would be sometime in 2017.

In October, Eminem confirmed that a new album is on the way. "Don't worry," he wrote on Facebook. "I'm working on an album! Here's something meanwhile," before dropping the "Campaign Speech." This should be enough confirmation that an Eminem new album is underway and could be ready in 2017. While Eminem has yet to reveal more details about the said album, many assumed that the rapper is now busy collaborating with artists and recording new tracks.

As previously reported, there was even a leak suggesting that the new album will be titled, "Success." According to NME, the Eminem new album for 2017 was supposed to be called "Roots," but with the recent leak providing tracklisting information, which should still be taken with a pinch of salt, this title has been changed.

It remains unclear if the Eminem new album details found on the leak are legit, but it appears that Slim Shady has been really busy based on the number of artists he has collaborated with. According to the leak, Eminem worked with Chance the Rapper, Mastein Bennett and even chart-topping British singer-songwriter, Adele. It was indicated that Adele performed "Success" in the rumored 2017 Eminem new album.

Seemingly absent from the rumored list of collaborators were Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg and Skylar Grey, who were supposed to be artists that are most likely to join Eminem for his new album. As previously reported by GamenGuide, Snoop Dogg expressed in an interview his desire to work with Slim Shady and that a collaboration project with the rap god and Dr. Dre is considered a "dream team." Skylar Grey, on the other hand, also opened up about how she enjoys working with Eminem.

For now, fans will just have to wait for more details on Eminem's new album rumored for 2017. Stay tuned to GamenGuide to get those updates.
