It seems that Delena fans will get their wish as reports that Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev will be reunited in the "The Vampire Diaries" season 8. This is despite the rumor that Nikki Reed is threatening to divorce her husband Ian if he pushes through with having Nina Dobrev back on the show.

There are rumors that Nikki Reed is afraid that when Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder reunite in "the Vampire Diaries" season 8, the ex-couple will fall in love again. Movie News Guide reports that Nikki Reed does not want her husband of a little more than a year seeing his former costar and ex-girlfriend.

Headlines and Global News even says that Nikki Reed is forcing her husband, Ian Somerhalder, to start a family, thinking that it is the best way to save their marriage from breaking down. But given that this is the final season of "The Vampire Diaries", Ian might want to prioritize his work first and make sure that fans will be happy with the end of "The Vampire Diaries" season 8.

And for Delena fans, the perfect ending for "The Vampire Diaries" season 8 is a happy ending for their favorite couple, Elena Gilbert, and Damon Salvatore. Nina Dobrev has already expressed her eagerness to come back for what is the final season of "The Vampire Diaries", however, it seems that she has not yet been asked by the producers to return.

There were some rumors weeks ago that Nina would be back, not as Elena but as her ancestor Katherine, but fans have yet to see that coming true. In any case, it seems that the producers of "The Vampire Diaries" season 8 are concerned with how they will handle Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev seeing each other.
