The Pokemon Company is giving away the Pokemon creature Munchlax for avid "Pokemon Sun and Moon" players. Considered as special gift for Nintendo 3DS users who purchased the gaming title, gamers have until mid-January 2017 to download the said creature.
With less than a month since "Pokemon Sun and Moon" was released to various markets, Nintendo and The Pokemon Company have prepared several treats to reward avid gamers. One of these treats include a free Munchlax that Nintendo 3Ds users can download for free, according to an announcement posted on the game's official website.
Described as a big eater Pokemon, the Munchlax is one the special creatures in "Pokemon Sun and Moon." The free bear-like creature comes with two special moves that it normally could not learn namely the Hold Back attack and Happy Hour move.
With the capability to retain an opponent's HP with just one point, the Hold Back move will be a helpful attack for "Pokemon Sun and Moon" players hoping to capture Pokemon creatures. Meanwhile, the Happy Hour move rewards gamers with double the amount of prize money after a fight.
The "Pokemon Sun and Moon" free Munchlax's evolved form also has a special ability to hold a Snorlium Z item. Named Snorlax, the evolved Munchlax will possess a unique Z-move called the "Pulverizing Pancake."
Players who will download the free Munchlax will get a free Snorlium Z item, according to same report. However, the said item can only be used for Munchlax's evolved form Snorlax.
"Pokemon Sun and Moon" gamers can claim their free special Munchlax creatures through the Nintendo 3DS game's "Mystery Gift" option, according to IGN. Prior to loading a save game file, choosing the said option from the main menu and selecting the "Get via Internet" button will jumpstart the download process. Players can then get get special Munchlax gift from the non-playable character (NPC) located at the Pokemon Center.
