Tesla Model 3 Release Date, News & Update: EV to Have Complete Level 5 Autonomous Driving Capabilities In Near Future? Specs, Features

As Tesla CEO Elon Musk has promised, the Tesla Model 3 will be the cheapest and smallest car from the EV manufacturer and that it will have true mainstream appeal. The Tesla Model 3 can reportedly go 215 miles on a single charge and that's a pretty decent number for intra-city rides.

The Tesla Model 3 has already received more than 400,000 pre-orders since it was announced on March 31. A late 2017 delivery date was also announced but this is perhaps going to change. The orders may not arrive until mid to late 2018. Tesla is trying to make the production process easier in order to meet the massive demand for the auto-pilot wonder.

The Tesla Model 3 is smaller than the Tesla Model S with a few notable design changes here and there. The EV has been previewed in Silver, Matte Black and Dark Blue. The car comes with a second storage space right under the bonnet. This is made possible when the roof stretches from the windshield bottom into the rear end hunches. It leaves a small boot opening space.

There is a 15-inch horizontal monitor in the middle that is part of the Tesla Model 3 interior design. As per Musk, the EV will provide a "spaceship" feel to users. The cabin is clutter-free and the car comes with all the necessary hardware to make it self-driving. Musk, who is always upbeat about anything Tesla, recently tweeted that the Model 3 will have complete Level 5 autonomous driving capabilities in near future.

As per Electrek, buyers of Tesla Model 3 will have to shell out a lot for its self-driving capabilities. It will cost them $5,000 to activate Auto-Pilot features and $8,000 for a completely self-driven Tesla. Stay updated on GameNGuide for more details and updates on Tesla Model 3.
