At the PlayStation Experience, the game developer Capcom pitched at the festivities. The latest trailer for "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" was unveiled during this event and it appears that the game developer took the game into a different path.

The survival horror game "Resident Evil" continues its story. The "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" released a new trailer and an updated demo with Virtual Reality Support. The "Midnight" update has virtual reality or VR support and it is playable on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro.

The new trailer of "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" showed that the game's playable character, Ethan Winters will face new dangers while looking for his wife. The release of this new trailer is another marketing push for the company as the launch date draws nearer.

According to Forbes, Capcom took a different approach in the new trailer for "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard". The trailer went on a more psychological approach much like that of "Silent Hills". With this, the whole game might have changed as well.

"Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" will pick up where it was left by its predecessor. The game's playable character, ended up in a dilapidated abandoned mansion in Louisiana while searching for his wife, who is presumed dead. Ethan Winters' backstory will also be explored in the upcoming installment.

The players of "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" will control Ethan Winters from a first-person perspective. Same with previous Resident Evil games, to fight the game's mutant creatures, players will be equipped with varied weapons, ranging from pistols, shotguns, flamethrowers, explosives and chainsaws.

"Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" will still have a puzzle solving, resource management and use of healing herbs as confirmed, though quick time events is totally written off the game. Players using PS4 will be able to play the game in VR, using the PlayStation VR Headset, from the beginning until the end. But the core game mechanics is a splitting image in both modes.

The survival horror game "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard" is slated to launch on Jan. 24, 2017 in PS4, Xbox One and PC versions. To have the latest scoop on "Resident Evil 7: Biohazard", only here in Gamenguide.
