Apple's latest edition of the MacBook Pro has been long awaited by the laptop market. The company might have taken some time off in their production of new flagship laptops which is why the MacBook Pro 2016's arrival became a long awaited event. However, it looks like the new Apple laptop isn't exactly getting the 100 percent positive feedback that it was probably aiming for. Right now, the MacBook Pro 2016's value is pretty much compared to a whole lot of Windows laptops that aren't as expensive. One of the laptops that usually get compared to the MacBook Pro is the Dell XPS 13.

The next model of the MacBook Pro 2016 is also 13 inch in size but it comes with the Touch Bar and Touch ID features. It also has a Core i5 Intel CPU but with a higher clock speed. The highest model of the MacBook Pro 2016 is a 15 inch unit that comes with the mentioned premium features on top of a Core i7 processor and a higher RAM size of 16 GB.

Dell XPS 13 Specs And Features

The Dell XPS 13 is a premium Windows laptop with a 13 inch vivid touchscreen. It boasts of its Infinity Display that basically gives the laptop a bezel-free look. For the device's internals, it comes with an Intel Core i7 processor and 8 GB RAM. It then comes with a Windows 10 operating system.

MacBook Pro 2016 And Dell XPS 13 Conclusions

Know that the simplest MacBook Pro 2016 model is priced at $1499 and it doesn't have the company's proudest features. If you want the Touch Bar and the Touch ID, you'd have to shell out $1799 for the 13 inch model or $2399 for the 15 inch model. The Dell XPS 13 on the other hand is priced at $1649.

Technically speaking, you'll get more value for your money for the Dell XPS 13. Of course, if you are really a fan of premium Apple features, and if you have been awaiting a new Mac model, then the MacBook Pro 2016 should be the upgrade you are waiting for. Otherwise, it's pretty practical to opt for a less expensive but just as premium Windows laptop.
