"Arrow" Season 5, Episode 9 Midseason Finale Spoilers

Prometheus goes against Team Arrow and Oliver learns that the villain knows their secret identities. Now, he is coming after them, one hero at a time.

According to spoilers revealed by Entertainment Weekly, the midseason finale will showcase a payoff to Episode 7's cliffhanger regarding Evelyn's betrayal. Meanwhile, the executive producer is asked if Prometheus be unmasked during the episode. Guggenheim has stated that he will make an appearance.

In "Arrow" Season 5, Episode 9, Oliver will meet Felicity's boyfriend. He is going to Malone in the midseason finale and fans will enjoy a Felicity-Oliver moment.

The episode will also showcase how Paul, Curtis' husband, feels about Curtis' night excursions as he has decided to work as a vigilante. It looks like Curtis is going to be in trouble.

The Dominators are defeated and gone, but in Episode 9 of "Arrow" Season 5, Thea and Oliver will be seen acknowledging the events in the 100th episode.

Guggenheim has stated that the midseason finale will have new flashbacks in store.

"The flashbacks will be actually flashbacks to season 1... One of the things I wanted to do originally was flash back to season 1 in the 100th episode. Very quickly we realized that we were telling far too much story for the 100th episode and there simply wasn't any room for that idea. We get to nod a little bit to our 100th episode legacy in our midseason finale," Guggenheim said.

Also, "Arrow" Season 5, Episode 9 will have a shocking end for Oliver.
