Forza Motorsport 5 News: 60 DLC Cars Coming

Forza Motorsport 5 Will Get Six Packs of New Cars in Sets of 10 With Their Own 'Forzavista' Experience

Turn 10 Studios and Microsoft Studios’ upcoming racing title Forza Motorsport 5 is back in news. It's been confirmed that that game will be receiving at least 60 cars over a period of six months following its release.

Turn 10 Studios recently revealed on Forza's official website that the company will be releasing as many as six packs of new cars in a set of 10s over the months as the company looks to deliver on its promise.

For a more enhanced and economical experience, Turn 10 Studios has advised fans to make use of the Forza Motorsport 5 Car Pass that will provide access to all six packs for one discounted price. It is being said that every add-on car in this roster will feature their very own “Forzavista” experience.

“Walk around the car, check out the interior, start up and rev the engine, learn about the car’s history and performance statistics; you can even add a new livery design, change the paint color, or tune your car all from the same Forzavista view. Every car has a story to tell in Forza Motorsport 5 and the story will continue to unfold even months after the November 22 launch,” the official post reads.

On top of that, the company has also stated that in order take advantage of this “automotive awesomeness” planned for the game, Forza fans must make use of the Car Pass that will offer “the freshest add-on cars as they are released; Car Pass owners will get six add-on packs (10 cars each) for one discounted price.”

The fact that the developer will be offering this many number of cars for fans as add-ons is not something new. Recently, Turn 10 content director John Wendl confirmed to IGN that the Forza team has not stopped building cars since 2006.

“Fortunately we have a reputation now; our car production engine has not shut off since 2006, on Forza 3,” Wendl stated that time. “We built cars for Forza 3; we built cars for Forza 3 downloadable content. We built cars for Forza 4, for Forza 4 downloadable content. For Forza Horizon, for Forza Horizon downloadable content. Now for Forza 5. We are always building cars. That machine never shuts off.”

Forza Motorsport 5 is currently scheduled for a November 2013 release alongside the new Xbox One.
