Ghost Recon: Wildlands’ How to Be a Beta Player

Ghost Recon: Wildlands’ How to Be a Beta Player

"Ghost Recon: Wildlands" will be releasing soon so it should be accepting sign-ups for beta player anytime now. Ubisoft has already announced through a press release that North American gamers are now welcome to apply on their website. And this article will serve as a guide how to properly sign up as a beta player.

The first step is to create a Ubisoft account, if the gamer has none yet, using an email, Facebook account, Xbox Live or Playstation Network ID. The specific date when the beta testing will begin has not yet been disclosed but it should be anytime soon since the game will officially release on the 7th of March next year. This means the game only has less than 4 months left from today so it shouldn't be long before it starts.

In the process of beta testing, game developers will go through the data of players' gameplay every week and modify or correct the codes every time a glitch is discovered. This process is not easy and could take 2 weeks to one month depending on the reports gathered within the beta testing.

In addition, "Ghost Recon:Wildlands" will also need more time for certification so the latest time it will start will be sometime in February. The earliest is estimated to be January if they want to have enough room for errors and delays before its official launch date.

Many assume Ubisoft will not commit the same mistake with "Watch Dogs 2" where a bug was found in its multiplayer mode just before its release. And since there wasn't enough time to fix it, the game decided to release it without the multiplayer mode.

The same thing can happen with "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" game modes so it only makes sense that Ubisoft wants to be more ready this time and take their time with beta testing.
