Nintendo Switch Release Date, News & Update: Nintendo Hybrid Gaming Console Featured For The First Time In The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon

It has been reported that Nintendo will hold a Private-Hands-On event in January 13 for the Nintendo Switch and fans get to experience the hybrid gaming console first hand. However, there has been a change of plans when Nintendo of America President, Reggie Fils-Aime and Nintendo Legend, Shigeru Miyamoto grazed at "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon", where the TV show host experienced the Nintendo Switch for the first time.

Jimmy Fallon Gets A First-Hand Experience With The Nintendo Switch

At the NBC late night show, Jimmy Fallon was joined by Nintendo of America, Reggie Fils-Aime where Fils-Aime introduced the Nintendo Switch to the audience. The hybrid gaming console did feature "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" game title for the first time and viewers can see that Fils-Aime is controlling Link with the Nintendo Switch Pro controller.

After that, Nintendo of America president showed off one of Nintendo Switch's best feature to Fallon by unplugging the Nintendo Switch out of the hub and handing the hybrid gaming console to the ecstatic TV host. Viewers can notice that it takes a small amount of time for the Nintendo Switch to transition from home mode to handheld mode when Fils-Aime hands the console to Fallon.

With Jimmy Fallon is seen playing "The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild" in handheld mode, fans can notice that the game works great on the Nintendo Switch with crisp resolution and smoother time frames. Fans can also see how the just how big Nintendo Switch would be on an average adult hands.

Before playing the game, Jimmy Fallon showed off the kickstand on the backside portion of the device that clearly shows two buttons on each Joy-Con. With Fallon having a first-hand experience with the Nintendo Switch, fans can confirm four Joy-Con buttons; the L, R, ZL, and ZR buttons in the Nintendo Switch.

Meanwhile, Jimmy Fallon also has the privilege to play the upcoming iOS game app "Super Mario Run" on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon." Nintendo Legend, Shigeru Miyamoto did collaborate with The Roots to perform the "Super Mario Bros." song on the said late night show.
