FIFA 14 Career mode: Four Lethal Young Strikers You Should Look Out For [VIDEO]

Four FIFA 14 Young Strikers Who Can Prove To Be Quite a Force In the Future

How often have you wished at the end of a game you just lost that you had a good striker who could actually take advantage of chances and then some? If you play regular career mode, or even watch regular games on TV supporting your favorite club, you will know that it’s very important to keep a strong backup for your regular guy provided he gets carded or injured.

There are a host of strikers to choose from the FIFAs that are released year after year, and the newest FIFA 14 is no different. However, as with every player that you obtain via transfer while in the career mode, you have to keep a sharp lookout for all the best deals around that you could easily miss out on since you didn’t have enough details on hand.

Again, as I have always stressed, it’s very important to consider the age of a player, since nothing is better than highly rated guy also having some years ahead of him to keep up his personal tempo. Since age is a factor, don’t expect to find that many players with overalls of 80 and above. However, if you manage to look past their overalls, you will know that a few of them can be a major asset on the field for you as a cover for your regular hitman.

For that matter, we also did a list of four youngsters you should seriously consider buying not too long ago. Check it out here.

While there is a vast number of strikers to talk about in this post, we'll pick a few who we think can really provide that much needed boost, that extra last bit of energy that will split the opposing defense wide open. Check out the players below categorized by their name, age and club.

Ahmed Musa, 21, CSKA Moscow: Now, some of you who follow the game both in the virtual realm and in reality may be confused by the fact that I have included Ahmed Musa in this list since he’s not a striker by trade in the first pace. However, since Musa started holding the responsibility for that position since last season, FIFA 14 has labeled him as a striker, and he’s a mighty good one too.

With an overall rating of an impressive 76 and a potential to reach 85, Musa is easily on this year’s wishlist of some of the ardent FIFA players I have known.

Winning 31 caps for the Nigerian national team already and scoring five goals for the senior squad, Musa has already become a force to reckon with both in reality and the game. This is due to the fact that the player holds an agility of 92, acceleration of 94, dribbling of 84, balance of 90, and sprint speed of 87. Musa can be categorized as one of those speedy forwards who always generate pace and takes the attack to the opponent. Check below to find out why he’s a must-have player.

Yassine Benzia, 19, Olympique Lyon: At just 19 years of age, the young Frenchman Yassine Benzia has already proved why Lyon’s youth academy is considered one of the best in Europe, if not the world.

If you follow French Ligue 1, you will often see Benzia falling down to the right-wing and making way for guys like Jimmy Briand and Clinton N’Jie. However, since the game has changed in recent years, you now see most of the players on the wing coming in from sides to add to the attack, apart from sending in regular balls into the six-yard box. Benzia does something similar.

Benzia jumped to importance following his major role last season for his club where he played in 16 league matches, and maintaining that first team place in this season as well. He's appeared five times for the French U21 team and managed four goals.

Although the player shows an overall of 66, his potential points at an impressive 85, with short passing and curving the ball being his forte. What this means is that he will be of some threat from set pieces. Check him out below.

Jürgen Locadia, 19, PSV Eindhoven: Jürgen Locadia is a product of the PSV youth system that trains future stars from the Netherlands. With his massive 6’3” frame, Locadia poses an immediate threat to any opposing defense, climbing above all else while the ball’s in the air.

Featuring an overall rating of 73 with a potential of 85, if you bump into him while the transfer window is open, you will find out that the only over-80 characteristic he has is his shot power of 82. However, since the game tags him as a sub, his overall monetary value shall also be low for the time being. So it’s better if you propose that deal for him as soon as possible. Check him out below.

Aleksandar Mitrovic, 19, R.S.C. Anderlecht: Serbian footballer Aleksandar Mitrovic currently plays for Belgian club R.S.C. Anderlecht and can easily be considered one of the lesser known and under-rated players you will come across.

Playing as a striker, Mitrovic was named among the top ten talents under the age of 19 in Europe. With most of his ability relying on shot power and stamina, Mitrovic has already made three appearances for the Serbian national team.

Aleksandar Mitrovic is currently rated with an overall of 73, but has the capability of reaching a potential of 87. The player also fields shot power of 81 and strength of 81. Check him out below.
