‘Narcos’ Season 3 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Sebastian Marroquin Claimed Pablo Escobar Committed Suicide; Third Season to Focus in Mexico?

"Narcos" Season 3 is one of the most anticipated TV show to come back in 2017 on Netflix. Despite the lack of official information coming from the people behind the series, the third run of the American crime web television show has been surrounded by rumors and speculations all over the Internet. "Narcos" Season 3 will no longer feature the glamorous yet troubled life of Pablo Escobar as it will start to focus on a new Colombian drug cartel.

According to the latest reports, the upcoming "Narcos" Season 3 will feature several new characters as it continues with a fresh plot. Although the second season of "Narcos" saw Pablo Escobar being killed by authorities after a fierce gun battle, rumors are circulating that the influential kingpin died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

The rumors came out following a revelation from Pablo Escobar's son Sebastian Marroquin, who said that his dad committed suicide to save his family from being taken away by the Colombian authorities. However, the government stood by its claim that Escobar was shot dead on the roof in Medellin by the members of Search Bloc following a 15-month search effort. "Narcos" Season 3 will also feature some flashbacks of the notorious drug lord to let viewers understand how he started the war against other syndicates in Colombia.

Although his death momentarily crippled the drug industry in the country, it started a more organized group, which will become the focus of "Narcos" Season 3. After Pablo Escobar's death, the drug trade became a free for all business that provided many opportunities for other groups from Colombia and other neighboring countries like Mexico.

Meanwhile, in a report by Aussie Network News, Nicholas Gonzales, Kerry Bishe, Andrea Londo and Michael Stahl-David are expected to join "Narcos" Season 3. The show will return in 2017. Stay tuned for more news and updates.
