‘Mass Effect: Andromeda’ Release Date, Latest News & Update: Title Similar to ‘No Man’s Sky?’ Renowned Authors Tapped to Helm New Novel Series for the Franchise

"No Man's Sky" may have been a disappointment to some. However, new reports suggest that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" may produce what the Hello Games title wasn't able to deliver.

According to the reports, the recently released trailer for "Mass Effect: Andromeda" sounded similar to "No Man's Sky." Some fans speculate that the upcoming "Mass Effect" installment will provide the expected results that fans didn't see when the Hello Games title was released. Critics have also said that "Andromeda" has fewer planets compared to "No Man's Sky" and this could be one of the reasons why BioWare's upcoming game will be more enjoyable.

Another issue that "Mass Effect: Andromeda" may resolve is substance. Numerous critics have pointed out that "No Man's Sky" didn't have depth. As for "Andromeda," there is a story that will explain the events going on in the game and fans are looking forward to it. BioWare seems to have understood this issue, which is why "Mass Effect: Andromeda" will come with a story and gameplay that fans are already talking about.

Meanwhile, The Verge reports that Titan Books has recently announced the arrival of new novels for "Mass Effect: Andromeda." According to the outlet, a new set of highly acclaimed authors have been tapped to join the writing team. The new team of authors includes N.K. Jemisin, Jason M. Hough, Catherynne M. Valente, and K.C. Alexander.

Alexander and Hough will be working on the first novel in the "Mass Effect: Andromeda" series titled "Nexus Uprising." The said installment will be out for fans to enjoy on March 28, 2017.

Valente, on the other hand, will work on the second book for "Mass Effect: Andromeda" and it will be titled "Annihilation." Finally, Jemisin will complete the trilogy with the final novel called "Initiation." The said authors are expected to deliver amazing stories that will further up the ante on the game's upcoming release.

BioWare is also expected to announce a specific release date for "Mass Effect: Andromeda" soon. The initial release date set is March 2017. Stay tuned for more updates!
