‘Hitman’ Latest News & Update: ‘Holiday Hoarders’ Mission Set In Paris Coming Next Week

Good news awaits for all gamers of stealth video game "Hitman." The title is celebrating the Christmas season with a holiday-themed mission. The even better news is that it will be coming for free, which means anyone who has the game will have the chance to play the new update titled "Holiday Hoarders."

As detailed in the official website of the game, the new content for "Hitman" will arrive on Tuesday, Dec. 13. It will be set in a festive Paris wherein the environment will be filled with all things Christmas like decorations, snow, presents and the good old Christmas tree. The storyline of "Holiday Hoarders" will involve Agent 47 dealing with two thieves.

There will be a fashion show going on but the thieves will break in to destroy the spirit of the festivity. They will be stealing the presents laying around and it's going to be Agent 47's job to stop them for good. Players who will manage to get the presents first can open them up and use the items inside to catch the two robbers. "Hitman" gamers can also get the chance to don on a different outfit during the mission.

report mentioned that while players can opt to wear the standard suit and tie in "Holiday Hoarders," they can also choose to wear a Santa Claus costume and bring down the naughty villains. "Hitman" players must take note though that "Holiday Hoarders" isn't going to replace the existing Paris mission. Instead, the holiday-themed content will come as part of the December update.

Developer IO Interactive said that the update will be free but they still encourage everyone to make a donation as they made the mission for the World Cancer Research Fund. Those who wants to donate can do so in either British pounds or U.S. dollars. "Hitman" will have more updates soon for the month of December so fans should stay tuned.
