After merely a month ''Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered'' has been released in the market, the developers of the game have some good news to fans this holiday season. The game is dropping off new maps and modes, which players can download for free.
New Maps
"Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" first launched with ten maps. In September, during the "Call o Duty XP" event, Activision has promised that the game will eventually include all 16 maps of the original game.
Now, it is happening! "Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" players can soon explore six new maps. Players are in for an exciting Holiday season as the December 13 update includes multiplayer maps "Bloc", "Showdown", "Countdown", "Pipeline", "Strike", and "Wet Work".
New Modes
The December update for "Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" offers more than just that. Because other than the six new multiplayer maps, there are two new game modes that are being added as well. Such modes are "Gun Game" and "Hardpoint".

In addition, a new trailer for "Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" has been released as well along with the December update. Take a trip down to memory lane and watch the nostalgic trailer below.
Furthermore, a sneak peek on a holiday-themed location can be seen towards the end of the clip. According to Dualshockers, "Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" players will get Christmas-themed map variation called "Winter Crash" as well.
And these are all for free. However, "Call Of Duty:: Modern Warfare Remastered" players will get to access this "24/7 Winter Crash Playlist" on the 20th of December.
"Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered" is only available to those who bought "Call of Duty: Infinate Warfare". The game is not sold separately.
