'God of War' Latest News & Update: SIE Santa Monica Breaks Silence with Dry Details

SIE Santa Monica have been silent since unveiling "God of War" during the E3 event 2016. Expectants are wondering where did the game hid after being silent during the last three gaming events thereafter to include Paris Games Week, The Games Award and PlayStation Experience.

What gamers did to subtly force Santa Monica to pitch in few details about "God of War" development is throw their questions at social media channels including Twitter. The whole affair worked and director Cory Barlog did broke the silence. Ok, it may not be as grand as anybody expects but at least it is sufficient to assure "God of War" expectants that all gears are working.

Barlog said that they are hell-bent on "God of War" development that they completely shut the world outside. While it has been a while and things are starting to fit together, he assured that gamers can peek a bit once there is already a milestone. Then he capped the insistent prying by saying that "God of War" is taking everything that development team is pouring on it. Details will simply spill once they are ready to do so.

Remember the word insistent? "God of War" is much-anticipated among AAA games so we can't blame gamers if they insist. Good that Santa Monica didn't say that they are turning into monks taking vow of silence. "God of War" have deadlines to meet and the team behind have to scrub everything to make things done, Barlog added.

Here are few points; "God of War" intends to continue the Kratos saga with his son, as described in its official page. The father will guide his son towards achieving his destiny to become a demigod and thus the adventure begins.

For now, "God of War is operating under loose release schedule. While PlayStation 4 is already a confirmed platform, there are no details yet about Xbox One nor PC.
