'Injustice 2' Latest News and Updates: Red Hood Won the Fan Votes, Will He Appear In the Next Sequel for 'Injustice'? [VIDEO]

"Injustice: Gods Among Us" have been a hit in the Xbox market and its sequel might just be up on its way. NetherRealm head Ed Boon always likes to keep their fans in the loop and has been posting polls for characters that fans might want to add up in the Injustice 2. Lately, he's created polls of which version of Robin would fan like to see in the games, and the votes have already been called and it looks like the Red Hood a.k.a. Jason Todd has finally won.

According to International Business Times, among the other names on Ed Boon's tweets are Nightwing and Damien Wayne's Robin. The Red Hood won the poll with a staggering 57% of 19, 591 votes with Nightwing coming at second with 25%  and Damien with the least number of votes with 18% . So far, Red Hood's fans have only gotten him in a cameo appearance in Rocksteady's "Arkham Knight". Meanwhile, Nightwing has already appeared in the first "Injustice" while Damien Wayne has yet been featured in any games so far.

Jason Todd's version of the Robin is popularly known as the one that the Joker killed by clubbing  him to death with a  crowbar. His character was then resurrected at the Lazarus Pit and went back to Gotham to seek revenge to those who had wronged him. However, unlike Batman, the Red Hood is more violent and doesn't think twice when killing the criminals.

The Red Hood was Joker's criminal persona before he fell into the chemical that caused his skin to turn white and dyed his hair green. Jason Todd took Joker's persona and made it his own to seek revenge on the Joker who murdered him years ago, News Everyday reported.

Although NetherRealm didn't release a sequel to "Injustice: Gods Among Us" right away. Its sequel, "Injustice 2", will soon be released in the year 2017.
