'The Elder Scrolls 6' Release Date, News & Update: Why The RPG Game Will Have A Longer Release Date Than Most Bethesda Games?

Bethesda has finally confirmed that "The Elder Scroll 6" will be released soon, but fans of the RPG game may just hold on for a minute as game developers are particularly busy right now. With "Fallout 4 VR" and "Fallout 5" underway, it seems "The Elder Scroll 6" might just take longer to develop than expected of the franchise.

Fans Are Rooting For 'Fallout 5' More Than 'The Elder Scrolls 6'

For starters, there are reports that Bethesda might release "Fallout 5" before releasing "The Elder Scroll 6" in the future. The game developers have found out that the "Fallout" franchise is way more popular in the gaming industry than "The Elder Scroll 6" sequel.

Moreover, "The Elder Scroll 6" is still a highly anticipated title for Bethesda, but it seems that fans are looking for "Fallout 5" to be released first. "Fallout 5" is said to be out with a new protagonist and new locations will be featured in the game's sequel such as Japan and New York.

However, other "Elder Scrolls" gamers are iterating that the "The Elder Scroll 6" should be the one to come out first. Also, "The Elder Scroll 6" game director Todd Howard currently stated that the upcoming sequel is still as important as "Fallout 5."

'Skyrim: Special Edition' Is Still Bethesda's Main Priority

Other than that, Bethesda claims that the game developers are still working on "Skyrim: Special Edition" notable bugs and game performance issues. As for "The Elder Scroll 6", much of the issues tied up to "Skyrim: Special Edition" could be very well helpful for Bethesda to develop the game's upcoming sequel.

As for now, Bethesda's attention is still on "Skyrim: Special Edition" on how to maximize the remastered game's potential in the market and in the gamer's consoles. Bethesda might need a couple more months to improve "Skyrim: Special Edition" before moving on to develop "The Elder Scroll 6" in the near future.

For the moment, there is no telling when "The Elder Scroll 6" will be released or how Bethesda will manage to perform multiple task at the same time. For more "The Elder Scroll 6" news and update stay tuned to Gamenguide!
