‘Red Dead Redemption 2” Release Date, News & Update: PC May Revel in the Joy of Multiplayer Experience

A leaked map of "Red Dead Redemption 2" has created quite a furore on the Internet. It has also been confirmed that the map belongs to the game. The game is gearing up to provide players with a very different kind of experience. It has also been reported that Take-Two Interactive has bought a "Read Dead Online" domain name.

This can be considered a confirmation of the fact that "Red Dead Redemption 2" is bringing the online multiplayer experience to gamers. The game is expected to be released on PS4 and Xbox One gaming consoles in fall 2017. Now, it seems that PC players will also be able to enjoy the multiplayer experience. "Red Dead Redemption" was released only on Xbox 360 and PS3.

A report by Attack of the Fanboy stated that if this "Red Dead Redemption 2" online is true, then it will be following in the footsteps of "Grand Theft Auto 5." The upcoming game will provide multiplayer facility with a 16-person Wild West death match. Players will also be provided with the opportunity to prepare themselves before the actual game begins.

What is interesting is the level of openness in "Red Dead Redemption 2" and players had previously complained the lack of it. There were a lot of non-playable characters (NPC) that many players considered a turn-off. The developers have improved the game on this front. The upcoming installment will see the NPCs more interactive.

For those who are new to the "Red Dead" franchise may play "Red Dead Redemption" by subscribing to the Sony Interactive Entertainment's PlayStation, a cloud gaming service. Several original PS3 games can be played here. The exact release date of "Red Dead Redemption 2" is not yet known and for the time being, gamers can keep themselves occupied with these available games.
